Diabetes

Diabetes is a severe (long-lasting) health situation that impacts how your body transforms food into energy. Most of the meals you consume are breached down into sugar (also called glucose) and absorbed into the circulation. When your blood sugar rises, your pancreas is signaled to activate insulin. Insulin operates as a key to allowing blood sugar to be used as energy in your body's molecules. If you have diabetes, whether your body does not really produce enough insulin or you can't be using the insulin it produces as well as you ought to. If you do not have enough insulin or cells to stop reacting to insulin, too much blood sugar will remain in your circulatory system. Over time, this can cause serious health difficulties such as heart disease, visual impairment, and kidney problems.
