Hypogonadism happens when your sex glands produce little if any sex hormone.  The sex glands, also known as gonads, are principally testes in males and ovaries in females. Sex hormones assist to control supplementary sex qualities, such as breast development in females, testicular advancement in men, and pubic hair growth. Sex hormones also play a significant role in the menstrual cycle and the manufacturing of sperm. Hypogonadism may also be referred to as gonad insufficiency. It may be termed a low serum testosterone or andropause when it occurs in men. The majority of cases of this scenario respond well to relevant medical treatment.
