Craniopharyngioma

Craniopharyngioma is a particular condition of noncancer (benign) brain tumor. Craniopharyngioma begins near the pituitary gland of the brain, which releases hormones that regulate many functions of the body. As the craniopharyngioma grows slowly, it can directly impact the purpose of the pituitary gland and other sensitive areas in the brain. Craniopharyngioma may take place at any age, but most often happens in kids and older grownups. Side effects include gradual adjustments in eyesight, fatigue, increased urination, and headache. Kids with craniopharyngioma may grow slowly and may be lower than expected.
