Hypopituitarism

Hypopituitarism is a rare condition in which your pituitary gland fails to deliver one or more hormone levels or does not create sufficient hormone levels. The pituitary gland is a kidney-sized gland located at the center of your brain. It is part of the endocrine structure of your body, which contains all the glands that generate and restrict hormones. Despite the small size, the pituitary gland creates and produces a variety of hormones that act on almost every area of the body.  Hypopituitarism is once you have a limited quantity (deficiency) of one or more reproductive glands. These hormonal deficiencies can affect any quantity of routine features of your body, such as development, blood pressure or reproductive success. Health problems typically vary, depending on which hormone or hormone you are lacking. If you have hypopituitarism, you may need to take medication for the rest of your life. Medication assists to replace the lost hormones that help regulate your health problems.
